Draft

This notice is a draft for the TABC administration to review and approve. It is not in effect yet, and nothing on this preview site stores personal information.

The short version

  • We collect only what we need to guide students and to schedule meetings and visits.
  • Only the people who need it can see it.
  • We never sell information or use it for advertising.
  • We delete student and parent records after the student graduates.

    • School email address

    • Which counselor he works with
    • His meetings with Israel Guidance (date, time, and whether in person or on Zoom)

    • Who will present
    • The visit date and time

When you sign in with Google, Google tells us your name and email address so we know who you are. We never see your password.

Why we collect it

To match each student with a counselor, book meetings, send confirmations and reminders, and plan program visits at TABC.

Who can see it

  • A student sees his own information and meetings.
  • A parent sees information about his or her own son.
  • Israel Guidance counselors see the students and parents they work with.
  • Selected office staff see the program visits calendar, so they can welcome visitors.
  • The visit booking page shows only program names and times. It never shows a program contact's details.
  • Student names and notes are never put on public pages or in calendar event descriptions.

Services that help us run the site

Google (sign-in, calendars and email), Zoom (parent meetings), and our website host and database provider. They handle information only to run this site for TABC.

What we never do

  • Sell or rent information to anyone.
  • Show advertising or use advertising trackers.
  • Share a student's information with a program without his family knowing.

How long we keep it

Student and parent records are deleted after the student graduates, within three months of graduation. Visiting program contacts are kept for one year, so we can invite programs back next season.

Your choices

Parents and students can ask to see, correct or delete their information at any time. For students under 18, a parent gives consent before his account is used.
